INTRODUCTION
Our story begins at the genetics laboratory in Portland Oregon, there; a group of scientists are being interviewed after discovering three stones, which they considered as “Sacred” because of their marvelous powers. They have said that these stones cured many people before, 10 centuries ago; they have also said that the one whom did these sacred rocks cure would be healed FOREVER.(At the lab Interview)
Journalists: So, tell us Dr. Thompson, why are these stones so special?
Dr. Thompson: My dear fellows, these stones were hidden for centuries and now, the time has come to show to the world what history has said about them is true!
(At that same moment, one of the lab patients stepped out in front of the audience and sat down in a plastic chair while Dr. Thompson was getting prepared along with his assistant: Dr. Caprice.
Dr. Thompson: Ladies and gentlemen, what you are about to witness is one of the most incredible, spectacular experiences of your whole life which you will never forget!
(Dr. Thompson took three stones out of a huge steel box and put them around its patient, the precious objects began to get brighter and brighter by the minute; people could not believe what they were seeing)
Journalists: Wow! UNBELIEVABLE!
Patient: I am cured! I am cured! (He yelled) It is a miracle doc!
(Everyone inside the lab gave Dr. Thompson and his assistant a big round of applause)
Dr. Thompson: I hope that you got something productive to write now don’t you gentlemen?
(After a short while, everyone stepped out of the main lab’s room, including McGee and Mark his boss)
Mark: What those doctors did in there was absolutely brilliant! I cannot believe it yet!
McGee: Well I don’t actually, I think Dr. Thompson and his assistant are a couple of phonies who just want big buck thanks to their little experiment of theirs all because of those rocks, I don’t buy it that easy...
Mark: What are you talking about Jack? You saw the whole thing didn’t you?
McGee: You have to be stupid enough to think that those rocks have magical powers or even cure mental or physical diseases.
Mark: I am not going to discuss it with you Jack! Let’s go!
(Meanwhile, inside the lab)
Dr. Caprice: Dr. what you did was fabulous!
Dr. Thompson: I know Ernest... however, we must let the whole world know the absolute power that these stones can have upon us, we just need a kind man so we can experiment with... the question is: “Where shall we find him?”
(Meanwhile, The Lonely man theme starts, and we see that David’s arriving to the lab. That same day, David read on the newspaper what the doctors had done with the sacred stones and in what measure people’s lives could change because of this).
David: I just hope that my problem ends up here... (He says)
(David gets inside the building and asks for Dr. Thompson)
David: Hello...
Receptionist: Good afternoon sir, welcome to GENLAB, how can I help you?
David: Um. Yes, I would like to have a word with Dr. Thompson please.
(Dr. Thompson arrives)
Dr. Thompson: Yes? May I help you young man?
David: Dr. Thompson? My name is David Bradford; I was just reading on the newspaper about your great discovery.
Dr. Thompson: Are you telling me that...
David: That’s right Dr. I would like to volunteer, besides, I’m also a Doctor.
Dr. Thompson: Please! Come on in! (Dr. Thompson said anxious)
David: Thank you Dr.
(Inside Dr. Thompson´s office)
Dr. Thompson: I’m all ears Mr. Bradford! However I must say that you don’t seem to be sick though!
David: Um. David Please.
Dr. Thompson: Very well David, I am listening.
David: Well Dr. Believe it or not I am, I have a disease as a product from radiation.
Dr. Thompson: MM.... radiation? Radiation? (Dr. Thompson replied thoughtfully) my stones have cured patients that had suffered diseases such as Cancer, aids, etc. but radiation.... ? Mm. please let me check you out immediately!
David. Please Dr. Let me explain it to you.
(David told Dr. Thompson the whole story about his illness while he listened carefully)
Dr. Thompson: If what you are saying is true David, you have been exposed to a large amount of gamma, which means we should start right away! Please change clothes, I will be with you in a few minutes.
David: Ok.
END OF SCENE I
(Dr. Thompson gets out of his office while David was changing clothes, at that moment, two guys stepped inside the building)
Benjamin: Ok Taylor, it’s cleared now! Shut the power off!
(Taylor the other thug shut off the power source that controlled the main lab and all of a sudden the room was filled with darkness. Somehow, David was already inside the chamber and ready)
David: All right Dr. I’m ready! We can begin whenever you like to! (David sees nothing but Darkness)
David: Dr.? What’s happening?
(No one answers)
David: Dr.? Dr. Thompson?
(Without David realizing what was going on, Benjamin leaves David locked inside the chamber)
David: Hey! What’s going on?
Benjamin: Where are they?
David: I don’t understand! What do you want?
Benjamin: The stones you idiot! Now where are they?
David: I don’t know where they are, Dr. Thompson must have them with him!
Benjamin: Hey Ty! (Referring to Taylor) lets go get Dr. Thompson, he has got the stones man!
Taylor: Good call Ben, let’s do it!
David: Hey wait a minute! if you just wait!, Dr. Thompson´s about to experiment with me, he’s going to use the stones to cure me!
Benjamin: Is that so? Aha no kidding! come on Ty, lets go!
David: (Yelling) Hey! Let me out!
(The two thugs finally found Dr. Thompson who was returning to the lab even though it was filled with darkness)
Benjamin: Alright Doc, hand them over!
Dr. Thompson: I’m sorry, I’m very busy, I have to get back to the lab, and a patient is waiting for me.
Benjamin: Looks like you don’t understand Dr. I want the stones, I want them now!
(David Hulk Out)
Dr. Thompson: Let me go! You... you thieves! Don’t you know who I am?
Taylor: Perhaps not doc, but we know where you are going to be in if you don’t cooperate with us! Now come on!
(The Hulk breaks out from the chamber roaring)
The Hulk: AAAARRRRGGGGGHHHHH!
Taylor: Hey! What the hell is that thing?
(The Hulk takes both men by their arms and throws them away outside the lab, the two guys ran off yelling)
Taylor: You will hear from us Dr. I promise! I ain’t quitting until I have them stones!!
(Dr Thompson was going through shock after the incident)
(A couple of minutes later, two medical students were observing some blood sample tissues just four rooms ahead of Dr. Thompson´s)
Student # 1: Ok, I believe everything’s in order now.
Student # 2: Great! At last! want some coffee?
Student # 1: Sure!
Student # 2: I will be back in a minute.
Student # 1: All right, just be careful not to spill it ok?
Student # 2: Relax will you?
(The Hulk appeared just about when the second student was on his way with the coffee)
Student # 2: Here you go, please watch it, it’s very... (Looks up and sees The Hulk while giving him one cup of coffee, The Hulk grabs the cup of coffee)
Student # 2: Ah! (Runs the other way out screaming, then The Hulk enters into the blood sample tissue where the first student was with the cup of coffee)
Student # 1: (Turning around) So, aha did you spill your coffee...?
The Hulk: (Soft Roar)
Student # 1: GULP! (Swallows and smiling at The Hulk nervously) excuse me... heheh...
(The first student ran away from the lab as fast as he could, The Hulk slurped some of the coffee but got burned with it)
The Hulk: AAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHH! (Throws coffee away)
(Finally the Hulk changes back to Banner)
END OF SCENE II(The next morning, the main lab’s room was completely and seriously damaged)
Dr. Thompson: My lab! (While he was seeing the whole destruction)
Receptionist: Dr. Thompson?
Dr. Thompson: What is it Lucy? (Asked frustrated)
Receptionist: There’s a reporter outside who wants to talk to you about what happened last night, his name is Jack McGee.
Dr. Thompson: Lucy... look at this mess... do you think I want to talk to reporters at this moment?
(McGee enters)
McGee: I’m afraid you will have to Dr.
Dr. Thompson: What do you want? I have told you everything that has to do with those stones... haven’t I?
McGee: I’m sorry Dr. Thompson, my name’s McGee I work for the national register, ever heard of it?
Dr. Thompson: The National Reg. oh yes...
McGee: Second, I don’t buy that story about the sacred stones.
Dr. Thompson: Then why are you here Mr. McGee?
McGee: I’m here because of what happened last night, some medical students reported that they have seen a large green creature, did you also see it Dr.?
Dr. Thompson: I don’t know what your talking about Mr. McGee, all I can tell you is that I was experimenting with one of my new patients, then I got out of my office when suddenly two guys grabbed me demanding the stones, that is all I can remember...
McGee: Could you please describe that new patient of yours Dr.?
Dr. Thompson: Sure, average, dark hair, medium height, a good-looking young man I would say, and he also told me that he’s a Doctor!
McGee: A doctor? Do you think it’s possible if I can speak with this patient of yours?
Dr. Thompson: The problem Mr. McGee is that I don’t know where he is right now.
McGee: Oh... ok, here’s my card and if you get to see him, please let me know ok?
Dr.Thompson: Good bye Mr. McGee! Oh. What a persistent man he is...(While talking to his own)
(David was hiding listening and appears after McGee leaves the lab)
David: Dr. Thompson?
Dr. Thompson: David! Where were you last night? I have been asking for you all over! Did you see that green monster?
David: I can’t remember Dr. I had a blackout... did you know those two men?
Dr. Thompson: No I didn’t, they wanted to steal the sacred stones, if it wasn’t for that green beast that appeared at the right moment!
David: But you didn’t tell McGee anything about it... did you?
Dr. Thompson: How do you know his name David?
David: I have heard everything from the other room, did anyone get hurt?
Dr. Thompson: I don’t think so David. Except my pride... maybe heheh.
David: Why did you have to tell McGee that I’m a doctor?
Dr. Thompson: What is it David? Is there something that I don’t know?
David: No. (David´s confused) It´s just that... i don´t like reporters... that´s all.
Dr. Thompson: However, the stones are in a safe place!
David: Where are they Dr.?
Dr. Thompson: I have already told you David, they are in a safe place.
(Seven blocks away from there Ben and Ty were talking about what had happened)
Benjamin: Please Ty, please tell me that I am not going crazy! Please tell me that you did also see that beast!
Taylor: Of course I did you stupid! We have got to put our hand on those stones!
Benjamin: But what shall we do?
Taylor: We will kidnap Dr. Thompson tonight that’s what we’ll do!
Benjamin: Don’t you think it’s a bit risky?
Taylor: Do you have a better idea Einstein?
Benjamin: Well... I guess not...
Taylor: I have heard that Dr. Thompson will be staying up late working with his new patient of his until midnight, so we will be there at 11:15 PM, you got it?
Benjamin: I guess so Ty...
END OF SCENE III
(Later that night, McGee went to the lab and talk to Dr. Thompson so he could meet his famous patient. He arrived at the lab at 10: 55 PM).
McGee: Good evening Ms.
Receptionist: Yes? May I help you sir?
McGee: I’m Jack McGee, I’m a reporter I have an appointment with Dr. Roger Thompson.
Receptionist: I’m sorry Mr. McGee... no one’s allowed at this time.
McGee: I just want to talk to Dr. Thompson, that’s all.
Receptionist: I’m deeply sorry, those are lab rules.
McGee: Ok, fine... goodbye.
Receptionist: Goodbye.
11:00 PM
Taylor: Ok, you ready Ben?
Benjamin: You bet I am!
Taylor: Lets go then!
(The two men headed for the lab disguised as medical lab assistants, using false identifications)
Benjamin: Good evening Mary!
Receptionist: Do I know you? How do you know my name?
Taylor: We’re Dr. Thompson´s new assistants, he’s waiting for us! We have a meeting darling!
Receptionist: Ok, but I will have to check the visitor’s list first, hold on. No, you don’t seem to be on the list, may I see your Id’s?
Benjamin: Sure sweetheart!
(Ben and Taylor grab the receptionist and put her and two watching men more to sleep for hours)
Benjamin: Sweet dreams my lady!
Taylor: Lets hurry Ben, come on!
(Meanwhile, McGee was trying to get inside the lab... when he saw what he saw).
McGee: My God! What’s happening here? I can’t call the police, otherwise john will get away, and I’m sure it’s him... It’s got be him!
(Inside The Main Lab)
Dr. Thompson: Ok David, let’s start one more time, even though the lab in shambles, we can’t waste any more time! Are you ready?
David: I am ready!
(When the experiment was about to begin, Ben and Ty rushed inside)
Benjamin: Alright Dr. No more games this time! Hand over the stones once and for all!
(Dr. Thompson gets the sacred stones out of the steel box and gives them to Taylor)
Taylor: Thank you Dr. Good Night!
(Taylor hits Dr. Thompson on the head leaving him unconscious)
David: You again? What do you want now? You got the stones!
Taylor: I believe that we have changed our plans right Ben? We can’t leave any witness around here, so we will have a little ride with both of you, hehehe! Ben: Ah! Now what?
Taylor: We will wait!
Ben: Wait? Are you serious? Wait until we get busted or what?
Taylor: Shut up! I’m the one who’s at charge here! We will have to take them with us then, come on Ben, you grab our friend over there, and I will put Dr. Thompson in the back of the trunk!
(Taylor and Ben put Dr. Thompson inside of the car’s trunk while they were putting David in the back seat)
Taylor: There you go buddy (Pushes David inside the car)
(While all of this happened, McGee was watching from inside the lab how Dr. Thompson and his mystery man were taken for a ride, he could see everyone clearly... except his John Doe)
McGee: I better follow them, looks like there’s someone with them too, and I’m sure It’s john!
(McGee gets on his car and starts to follow them, but suddenly, he loses track of them)
McGee: Now where did they go? (Mcgee´s confused)
(The bad guy’s car stopped at a huge factory, where the big boss was waiting for them. Mr. Salvatore a big, fat lousy Italian mobster that was controlling half of the city and that was searching for the sacred stones for a long time, not to be cured nor anything like it, but to use them for his own benefit)
Mr. Salvatore: Welcome my boys!
Benjamin: Good evening Mr. Salvatore...
Taylor: (While he was chewing some gum) Hey boss!
Mr. Salvatore: Well? How did the operation go? And who is this man?
Taylor: Oh. He’s nobody Mr. S.; he was just getting on the way so we had to bring him here.
Mr. Salvatore: Very well then, the other one’s Dr. Thompson? Eh?
Benjamin: Yes he is Mr. Salvatore.
Mr. Salvatore: Well-done boys, now, give me the stones.
(Taylor Gives Mr. Salvatore the three stones)
Taylor: What about those two?
Mr. Salvatore: Put them in the crusher machine!
(David approaches toward Mr. Salvatore while Taylor whispers something to Mr. Salvatore´s ear)
David: Who are you?
Mr. Salvatore: Doesn’t really matter; Taylor here just told me that you’re a patient of Dr. Thompson.
David: That’s right, I need the power of the stones so I can cure myself.
Mr. Salvatore: You won’t be needing the stones my dear friend, I know perfectly what both of you really need... towards the crusher! Now! (He yelled)
(David and Dr. Thompson are put inside a huge machine, which begins to crush objects that get on its way)
David: Hey! Somebody help! please Dr., please wake up...
(McGee finally approaches successfully towards the factory called: Bambino & Co).
McGee: Good evening.
Benjamin: Who the hell are you?
McGee: I just wanted to know who’s that man with Dr. Thompson, you know, the one you just brought here.
Benjamin: And how do you know that?
McGee: Well... umm... It happens that I think I know this guy.
Taylor: Well how about that? Why don’t you take a hike pal, this is none of your business, now beat It!
(Mr. Salvatore appears)
Mr. Salvatore: Please Taylor, don’t be so rude with our guest here. Please, allow me to introduce myself (referring towards McGee) my name’s Salvatore Bellini and I’m the one at charge around here, what can I do for you?McGee: Yeah, ok... well. Umm... actually I think I know that man, you know the one who’s with Dr. Thompson.
Mr. Salvatore: Oh really? Why is that? He’s just an ordinary guy; besides, we’re planing to kill him too!
McGee: I think that you don’t get already the main point here, that man turns into a big, green monster that kills people!
Mr. Salvatore: And how do you know it’s him?
McGee: Well... I don’t but that’s why I am here! I’ve got to be sure!
Mr. Salvatore: Oh, you’ll be sure all right! After we tie you up!
McGee: Please, will you please try to understand it’s very important that I see this man!
Mr. Salvatore: Oh. You’ll see him, you can bet on that, after he’s crushed into tiny, little pieces along with Dr. Thompson! Heheheh! Taylor, please, put Mr..... I’m sorry, our name please?
McGee: Yeah! It’s McGee. (Says McGee in an anxious way due he thought he would have an opportunity of seeing John/David).
Mr. Salvatore: Please tie Mr. McGee up and take him to my office at once!
McGee: Please wait! What about John?
Mr. Salvatore: Who? Oh! The patient? don’t worry Mr. McGee, I´ll take care of him, Taylor will take care of you! Heheh, now take him away, I don’t want anymore interruptions!
(David’s inside the machine with Dr. Thompson)
David: Wake up! Please wake up!
Mr. Salvatore: Ciao Bambinos! (Turns machine on)
David: WAIT! (Hulks out) WAIT!
(David’s shirt begins to rip off, then his pants and finally his shoes; the machine has started to run The Hulk releases Dr. Thompson who was still unconscious).
(Meanwhile, Mr. Salvatore, Benjamin, Taylor and McGee were arguing inside Mr. Salvatore´s office)
McGee: Please, if you just listen to me...
(Taylor takes a gun from the desk’s drawer and aims it towards McGee).
Mr. Salvatore: I’m sorry Mr. McGee, but I’m a businessman and I must protect my investments, ready Taylor?
The Hulk: AAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHH!
(The Hulk breaks through the office and grabs the gun and shreds it to pieces).
Benjamin: Hey! It’s that huge, green thing again! Let’s get out of here!
(As Taylor and Ben were trying to run away, The Hulk grabs them and throws them up towards the roof)
Both Benjamin and Taylor: HEEEEELLLLLPPPPP! Ah! (While landing upon the roof)
(Mr. Salvatore picks the sacred stones up and tries to escape, but McGee, avoids this by giving him a pick punch on the face).
McGee: Not so fast bambino! (Mr. Salvatore falls off)
Mr. Salvatore: (Screaming desperately) Ah! My rocks!
(One of the stones was destroyed because of the fall; however, the police was on its way)
(McGee approaches towards The Hulk and says)
McGee: thanks again John, I wish that you could understand me... and that you could speak, I would have had the biggest story of my whole life...
The Hulk: AAAAARRRRGGGGGHHHH! (Runs out of the scene)
McGee: John wait! Come back! (The police arrives)
Cop #1: Mr. McGee! You’re a hero!
Cop#2: Wow! Way to go Jack!
(McGee looked pale; he didn’t know what to answer)
McGee: Well.... Actually...
Cop#2: You did a great job Jack! We were following this guy for almost 4 years now and without any kind of luck at all! CONGRATULATIONS!
Cop#1: By the way, where’s Dr. Thompson?
(Dr. Thompson appears kinds dizzy)
Dr. Thompson: Oh.... My head.... Where am I?
Cop#1: Are you all right Dr.?
Dr. Thompson: I guess I am, but one of my stones isn’t I’m afraid...
McGee: Who cares about that? After all what really counts is that you’re alive and well Dr.!
(Mcgee´s boss Mark runs towards him)
Mark: Jack! Are you ok?
McGee: Yeah, I’m ok, but The Hulk got away again...
Mark: The Hulk was here?
McGee: Yeah... he was... come on Dr., (referring to Dr. Thompson) I´ll drive you back to the research lab.
Dr. Thompson: I´ll think I´ll go with the officers Mr. McGee if you don’t mind, thank you very much.
McGee: Suit yourself Dr. Lets go Mark...
(The police arrested Mr. Salvatore and his two bambinos)
(The next day, David heads to the lab one more time and ready to leave)
David: Excuse me Ms.
Receptionist: Yes? Oh! You’re Dr. Thompson´s patient? Please wait, he wants to talk to you.
(Dr. Thompson appears at that same moment)
David: Dr. Thompson... thank God you’re all right... (David feels a big relief sensation) Should we make the experiment one last time?
Dr. Thompson: Yes David... however I’m afraid that I don’t have good news for you...
David: What happened Dr.?
Dr. Thompson: One of the sacred stones was destroyed yesterday, the experiment would be almost useless without any of the stones.
David: What? (David starts to cry) Isn’t there anything that we can do?
Dr.Thompson: I’m afraid that we wasted a lot of time... I’m sorry...
David: (Frustrated) Why? I don’t understand!
Dr. Thompson: Because, even if the sacred stones had worked, there’s a certain period of time in which the rocks show their Powers at a higher, increased level, but the most saddest thing David... is that... they only work with one person at a time, and just once, and unfortunately your time has ran out... I’m truly sorry...
(David calms down)
David: I understand Dr. However, good luck with your research, I do hope you save a lot of lives though...
Dr. Thompson: David, please don’t feel about yourself, medicine has many practical and useful resources nowadays and if you have faith, you could be cured in no time!
David: Thank you Dr. I´ll take your advice, I’m looking forward to it.
Dr. Thompson: By the way, McGee will be arriving here any minute now, he’s been proclaimed hero for saving my life.
David: Anyway, it was a pleasure meeting you Dr. Thompson.
Dr. Thompson: Same here Dr. Bradford, please return anytime you like, perhaps I will have a new medicine that’s able to cure you within the next 2 months!
David: I guess my time’s not only gone with the stones, I have to look for a cure somewhere else...
Dr. Thompson: Good luck then David...
David: Thank you Dr., and please use the remaining 2 stones for the benefit of the world.
Dr. Thompson: Oh! I surely will my son! I will!
David: Bye Bye...
Dr. Thompson: See you David.
(David Banner walks off the sunset, the lonely man theme starts to play and David begins to hitchhike towards another adventure one more time)
